Outlook Web & New Outlook
Install via the browser — the add-in syncs to all your Outlook clients automatically.
- Download the
cargomind-manifest.xmlfile using the button above - Open https://aka.ms/olksideload
- Under "Custom add-ins", click Add a custom add-in > Add from file
- Select the downloaded
cargomind-manifest.xmlfile and click Install
Works everywhere
Once installed via Outlook Web, the add-in automatically syncs to all your Outlook clients — including Classic Desktop and New Outlook. No separate installation needed.
Alternative: Add from URL
- In Outlook, click Get more apps > My add-ins
- Under "Custom add-ins", click + Add a custom add-in > Add from URL

For Classic Outlook on Windows, download and run the installer batch file.
- Download and run
CargoMind-Install.bat - The installer will check for Node.js (installs it automatically if missing)
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account when prompted
- Restart Outlook — the add-in will appear in the ribbon

For IT Administrators
For organization-wide deployment, use the Microsoft 365 admin center to deploy the add-in to all users centrally.
Personal Microsoft Account
For personal accounts (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, @live.com, etc.), install through Outlook on the web.
Before you begin
Download the cargomind-manifest.xml file using the button at the top of this page. You'll need it in Step 4.

Open outlook.live.com and sign in. Click the Apps icon (grid) in the toolbar, then click Get add-ins.

In the Add-Ins for Outlook panel, click My add-ins on the left. Scroll down to Custom Addins and click + Add a custom add-in.

From the dropdown, click Add from File...

Navigate to your Downloads folder and select the
cargomind-manifest.xml file.

A warning dialog will appear. Click Install to confirm.

The add-in is now installed. You'll see CargoMind with an "Added" badge under Custom Addins.
After installation
The add-in will appear when you open any email. Look for the CargoMind Enhance button in the toolbar or under the "..." menu.
Why is this different from Business?
Personal Microsoft accounts don't support the aka.ms/olksideload shortcut or the automated .bat installer. The manual upload shown above is the supported method for personal accounts.
How to Use
- Open any email in Outlook
- Click the CargoMind Enhance button in the ribbon/toolbar
- The taskpane automatically detects container numbers (e.g., CSNU2663430) and MSC references (e.g., MEDURL270952) from the email
- Click Search CargoMind to look up the detected references
- View shipment, consol, brokerage, and bill of lading details in the results
Same manifest for everyone
All users install the same manifest.xml — your login determines which client data you see.
